| I don't care who reads this. I don't care who responds or what anyone thinks of this. I'm only glad that I had enough time to sit down and write this. So, respond, reply, bash, ignore, I don't care. One's work is to be done, not reviewed. That's how it should be.
As I entered this Kingdom long ago, I had high hopes. I wanted myself to become great but even more, I wanted this Kingdom to become great. I promised myself that I would call this land my home and I its undying servant. Together, this Kingdom and I would reach heights we have never seen before.
As time went on, bonds were made, and the Kingdom grew and grew. I was happy. The land I promised that would become great was on its way to that greater height. Yet, I felt like I was left behind. I envied the pace that this land was going at and I wanted to follow. Was this greed? Was this my sin that begets my punishment later on? Was it wrong to want more? I cannot tell but that's what I wanted back then. I wanted more power to serve my Kingdom.
I was granted a higher position in my Kingdom. People looked up to me. I felt glad for being needed. I was helpful to others and served my Kingdom. That's what truly mattered to me, I believe.
As more time went on, the Kingdom granted me a higher position. Even more people looked up to me and I was even more helpful. Still, there was unrest. The coworkers among me fought and the dissent grew. This unrest was unsettling. In time, it left and peace resumed in the Kingdom. It still continued to grow and grow.
One day, the King came to me and offered me a position. This position was grand, prestigious and coveted by all. I would like to believe I humbly accepted it, but now I question whether I deep down lusted for this position. All the time I went with the pretext of doing this for the betterment of my Kingdom.
With this new and grand position, I was able to help my Kingdom in ways I never dreamed of before. This wonderful sight over the Kingdom. This wonderful look from above.
Peace left the Kingdom as the Civil War started. The people turned on eachother. People lost trust in eachother. The disarray and chaos was unbearable. I was stuck watching. I was stuck watching all of it. I was forced to watch friends leave this once wonderful Kingdom.
As the fighting calmed, the people rallied. It was nice to see them reconvene and unite once more, just like old times. I smiled. Even from this high look upon the Kingdom, amongst the fire and destruction, there was brotherhood and solidarity. The people still had a flag to unite under.
I then set my sights for the new Kingdom formed from the Civil War. Those who left advocated for peace and sanctuary. Yet, they held hatred and enmity towards this Kingdom. I don't blame them. After all that has happened, I wanted to follow, too. However, I was stuck in this Kingdom. I was stuck watching from this look above.
In this midst of our rising prosperity, a disaster struck. A storm swept the Kingdom. All of the homes destroyed, all of the people in confusion and disarray, the castle itself obliterated.
To me, probably me alone, a miracle happened. The new Kingdom that separated from the Civil War, returned to offer their hand. Though the king and my fellow people refused, I wanted them to return. Was I alone? Was I the only one who wanted peace and the reunion of this Kingdom? I cannot say. Still, on my word they returned and helped to rebuild the Kingdom. Though their presence was hated, I was glad they returned. However, once their work was over, they were banished once more. They were banished and forgotten once again.
Peace and prosperity returned to the Kingdom once more. But as I looked from this position over the rest, there were less than before. Have they lost hope in this Kingdom? Have I done something wrong? In this seat above, have I erred?
Time went on, and the loyal members of this Kingdom still remain. They were happy. I was glad for that. However, matters that I had to attend to increased. To a point, I couldn't keep up as the work increased indefinitely.
One day, the King disappeared. More work came to me. Day after day, the people came to me for help. I couldn't keep up. Was this my own weakness? Was I not strong enough? Why couldn't I be strong enough to support my Kingdom? Am I being punished for my greed for belonging? I look off into the distance from this high seat. I see the new Kingdom, almost crumbled apart. Do I regret not going with them and possibly bringing prosperity to there? I look down on the people, happy and oblivious to the obligations I'm burdened with. From the look above, do I regret my greed? Do I regret my promise? From the look above, I envy the people below and wish to be there with them.

| I appreciate the kind words but what I truly wanted to result was the connotation beneath to be realized. As far as the eyes show, this is a simple story of a man and his devotion to his Kingdom. | |

| So that's the story of the forum, eh? If it's not... Then I truly wish for that man to be able to find solace in his kingdom one day.
Heaven knows what would happen without him.

As usual? Wasn't this almost a year ago? Epicness doesn't have an expiration date.
