Kal, let's be honest, Goku's Powers were watered down.

Not only that but they DID NOT mention what goku has accomplished, they only added superman's feats of pulling the earth and surviving this and that, Goku has fought and defeated enemies that can obliterate galaxies in an instant (See broly, and every enemy thereafter,) and if we count omega Shenron who can destroy the entire universe and consider the fact that it took a fusion of 2 Super saiyan 4 fighters to accomplish this which by this math would mean that their power increase was 120000 from goku's base power multiplies by 120000 of vegeta's death battle which would be enough to end space time considering a clash between goku's dragon fist and superman's yellow star punch nearly destroyed it and it was only at 120000 of goku's power alone, the things that goku survived and defeated are FAR more impressive that Superman, another thing to consider Broly destroyed an entire galaxy and then lost to goku on new vegeta, meanwhile darkseid can't conquer earth because of the justice league, let alone destroy a planet, beats superman 8/10 times, and if we compare this to the marvel equivalent of darkseid in thanos who twice became the universe itself and decimated 50% of the life in the universe in 1991's infinity gauntlet, is pretty sad. Not to mention that the strongest being in the Marvel Universe or at least the popular marvel universe is galactus and even he can only devour and destroy one planet at a time there is not a being in American Comics who can stand up to Goku. or the things he has faced, MAYBE if we give him a fighting chance you can say that Odin would be able to do it but he is the only one and he is a million billion times stronger than superman and he is immortal and he is a god. They said goku took 28 hours to travel snake way after his training with king kai, consider this, going to the sun is a worldy thing, something goku could probably do in less than 1 second with Instant transmission, however he didn't go to the sun, he travelled down from the heavens to earth, no matter how fast you are a transition from heaven to earth can not possibly take 2 minutes, Point, blank, period. This fight was underrated.

To say that Goku's powers are finite is an extremely inaccurate statement. Throughout his story he has broken the wall and has become stronger than his previous form and his foe at the time. I say that in an actual fight neither would survive. Super draws all his powers from a yellow sun without that he is inferior to goku because goku draws power from himself. So with the yellow sun perhaps superman would win, without it goku would definitely win.

True, but wouldn't that take a ton of time? When he used it against Kid Buu he had to charge it up and have Vegeta cover him as he gathered energy. Also, I believe it only hurts pure evil characters, unlike superman, although I could be mistaken.

Overall, I think the fight was pretty fair, although they did make superman seem a little bit overpowered, after all, Supes has had a ton of writers and over 70 years of publication, Goku, has 1 writer and is under 30 years old, of course Superman would be overpowered!

Honestly they are both great heroes who each has accomplished great feats from returning from the dead multiple times to changing the lives of millions on Earth and the galaxy. These two would never actually fight (although Goku would try to start some shit up since he's kinda cocky) but they would never fight to the point where the lives of others was involved. Goku and Superman are both legendary heroes who have survived through decades and who will only continue to exist into the far future solely because they both inspire us to be our best, regardless of our flaws. They were flawed men, yet they used those flaws to became great heroes. Their endurance was all that was needed to change the world. And I think if they actually got to meet, they would be great friends. Both alien orphans sent to earth to guard and protect humanity from various enemies of life. I honor them both, regardless of nationality. Regardless who is more powerful, they are equals.






NAHHHHH I'M STRONGER XD

I actually wanna see Akira Toriyama and a superman writer do a superman/goku teamup crossover, it would be so awesome.

They hated on Goku way too much, like I said, Superman loses to darkseid 8/10 times, darkseid can't destroy a planet of his own power, Goku defeated cell and frieza in GT in child form without super saiyan, one of which can destroy a planet in less than 5 minutes and the other which can destroy the whole galaxy. So Goku is weaker than Superman, Screw Attack was biased, thats all there is to it, even the death battle guys say they love supes, in order to truly get a good analysis you need two people or two sides to discuss it.

However they did use facts to back things up (well sort of) not to mention Superman's abilities have more scientific back up while Goku, whose universe is mostly magic, makes things difficult to decide what his true limits are. Not just that, it's true most of the things in the aime are wrong due to translation. Another thing is Whenever the authors wanted Goku, or even Superman for that matter, to defeat an enemy, they'd just allow him to do more. But honestly, Goku isn't as powerful as he always appearded. However, I'll give you that Goku has died and returned dozens of times, surpassing Superman in that area.

They can only measure Goku's strength by his own feats, and not the feats of other characters, as that would require to many assumptions. Also, I don't think that Cell as actually destroyed a solar system, but was rather going for the "Evil Bad-Guy Exaggeration" thing. Honestly I feel if they did include the power levels, the result would be the same. Superman's strengh depends on the writer, and they simply choose him at his best, as they did with goku.

They made there own formula's and went against science itself, plus the duration a which superman was exposed to kritonite then was undercloud cover along
side his fight in the amount of time he fought Goku he took as much damage he did against doomsday... Goku should have won it. I demand a rematch.

Superman can lift much over 100 tons as seen in the video, he can lift 66.6 quintillion at his base, and much more supercharged, and the fight shown was created after they had already determined who would actually win, the animator makes it all fancy and such.

also dafaq over having to concentrate for the instant transmission, anyone remember the instant kamehameha? I don't think goku could really concentrate while charging a kamehameha if goku would have used things like that he could have
1. dodged the fatal blow
2. just warp to random spot in the galaxy to gather power for the "galaxy" spirit bomb (which would is so insanely powerfull that I don't know what would have happened XD)
3. used the powerpole and transmission to just keep hitting from all kinds of weird angles XD.
Also Goku isn't consistant with the not breathing in space since in the original dragonball he brought that rabbit to the MOON without having breathing any breathing throubles what so ever.

ALthough I know nothing of superman exept what they said in the video I think at least one of those things would have made a HUGE difference in the fight. So.... yeah I dunno what to think about this deathbattle :s
